Meal Options


When changing your eating habits, i.e. adopting the Paleo Diet, it may be difficult to figure out what you should be eating. Below are just a few sample meals that may help you get started. The possibilities are endless once you get the hang of it. And if it's too daunting to try to come up with something different to eat at every meal, pick a meal combination that you really like and eat it every day as a particular meal for a week.

If a food item is included that you do not like, find a substitute from the food list provided at the Boot Camp Orientation, or ask a trainer. We're here to help!


Sample Meals (interchangeable as to what meal you use them)

Scrambled Eggs with Ham or Bacon, Piece of Fruit, Almond Butter

Smoothie: Whey Protein, Fruit, Ice, possibly a little Milk, Olive Oil (you will not be able to taste it in the smoothie)

Protein Shake, Piece of Fruit, Nuts

Lettuce Wraps or Naked Burrito- Grilled Chicken, Grilled Veggies, Guacamole (fat), Salsa

Grilled Chicken Breast, Asparagus, Nuts

Stuffed Peppers: Green Pepper filled with Ground Beef, Olives, Onions, Diced Squash, Stewed Tomatoes, Olive Oil, and Organic Tomato Sauce

Spaghetti- Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce (pour Olive Oil in the sauce for your fat or eat nuts with your meal)


Items to keep on hand for when you are in a pinch:
Protein (whey powder or premade shake low in sugar)
Nuts
Jerky
Fruit
Lunch Meat
Almond Butter
